Colitium Rules

Colitium is everywhere on Cilyndria. It can be found in three major spots, at its highest concentration, in Aedas and Cysti. They can be discovered in Shyre on Cysti, deep in the Pandryl Mountains, and hidden away in a mysterious cave in Maeryl Forest.

It's original form is in a gaseous state invisible to the naked eye. Shifters can feel it in the air. Humans however cannot. Therefore, they must use infrared technology in order to see it.

When liquefied, it is an opaque, purple color. This is created through a process known as reverse evaporation. This brings the gaseous Colitium into its liquid form. When it touches the skin, it leaves a stain similar to that of a tattoo, however, it lasts a few months as it takes some time to be absorbed into the skin. If your character uses Colitium, you must state that there are stains on some part of their body in your appearance.

Liquid Colitium can be swallowed or injected using a syringe. Inserting it into the bloodstream reacts faster and gives a stronger boost while swallowing Colitium takes longer to have an affect.

Inserting Colitium into the bloodstream for many years can result in it being tainted, however, if abused and used constantly, you will begin feeling negative affects. Users who wish for their character to be an abuser will have a dice rolled to determine whether they will turn into a beast.

The military has banned humans from using Colitium until they can find a safer way of using its power.

Shifters who use Colitium will have a sudden boost of their powers however, it will slowly drain them of their natural ability to take in Colitium. Shifters who take in liquid Colitium do not corrupt the liquid form as they do not have the same blood content as humans. The only way they can change into a beast is if they are bitten by the original beast.

There is only one original beast which I shall be playing. Threads will be chosen at random when the beast "escapes" Castra. A dice will be rolled and certain characters can and will be chosen to transform into beasts. Be prepared.
